The most important thing to consider in the keeping of birds, whether a single Canary or a large aviary, is the question of the right food for your birds. More birds die each year from being improperly fed by their loving owners than from all other causes combined.
It costs so little to feed a bird that it is unfair to your little friend for you to feed anything but the best foods obtainable.
In the wild state birds find various kinds of foods and mineral salts that heretofore have been impossible for man to supply. By making an intensive study of this important subject here at Bird Haven and having had years of actual experience in keeping and breeding many kinds of birds we have solved the problem of correctly feeding birds in captivity.

In fairness to yourself and in justice to your birds you should buy your bird foods from a bird lover and breeder. One who knows from experience how to feed and care for birds.
The mixtures offered you below are exactly the same as we use here at Bird Haven for feeding our birds. They contain the correct amount of each variety of seed and form a balanced ration for any kind of cage or aviary bird.
Our seeds are full ripe and plump and of the highest grade. They are recleaned and contain no dust or harmful weed seeds.
We sell our seeds only in bulk as this is the only possible way to insure freshness. It is also more economical as you are not paying for fancy packages when buying our seeds.
We do not claim that it is necessary for you to buy your seeds from us in order to keep your birds alive.
